Elegant Inspirations

Last spring I started looking for stamps of verses in the Bible. At the time I had a project to complete for my church. I found the set Elegant Inspirations in the SU catalog. I didn't buy the set right then due to my cash flow. But, I did keep thinking of all the things I could do with it. Eventually I HAD to order it!

Another thing I HAD to order from SU last summer was their Petal Patch paper. The colors perfectly matched my living room decor. I've been waiting for just the right time to cut into the beautiful paper.

Last week I created a collage using both of the above. I have a shelf above my piano that needed something new. After spending too much time browsing stores for the perfect thing, I decided to create something myself. I usually try to keep everything I create in straight lines. I strayed from that a little this time. "Square" is not always the best. (At least that's what I keep telling myself.) I'm really pleased with the outcome. So, what do you think?

I love it! I wish I had the creativity and thought that you have in all of your work. Beautiful! You know, any time you want to make something like that for Christmas or such... I'm open to that. :)
